Friday 11th July 2008 Kilkeel

At the end of the Schomberg parade the Black Skull Corps of Fife and Drums gathered on the sea front esplanade in Kilkeel to present Mr. James Norris, band master from the pride of Ballinran flute band, Kilkeel with a wee token of our friendship and appreciation and to note of our common bonds and shared heritage with the Pride of Ballinran band. Both bands have had a strong friendship going on over 11 years now, and the Black Skull thought it would be fitting, as this was their first playing visit the Black Skull had undertaken to Ballinran's home town, to celebrate the occasion with a wee token to mark the event.
