"End Of An Era"

At the end of the 2011 marching season, Black Skull lost a few long serving members of the band.
It is with great sadness that we say farewell to these members J.Mc Intyre, William Alexander, Steven Bradley, Matt Drennan, Ian McAdam and Alan Kemp. For some, age has caught up with them, some health issues and some personal reasons. But regardless, their service and presence will be sorely missed within the ranks of the band.
 
During the last 30 year, these members have notched up between them approximately 140 years of service. They have been good servants and great ambassadors for the band.
 
So on behalf of the Members of Black Skull corps of Fife & Drum Glasgow, We would like to thank them for their service and contribution to the band, which have taken Black Skull to where it is today.
We would also like to wish you all the very best in your retirement.
