In preparation for the coming season and with one eye on the special events already added to this year's calendar, the band members recently braved the winter elements to brush up on their drills. This gave seasoned members the chance to blow off the cobwebs from the winter break and also allowed the new members to be introduced to the various commands and drills that we use when out on parade. This will continue over the coming weeks to ensure our drill is up to the required standard for the coming season.
The 'Legacy' Exhibition which was first displayed at the Imperial War Museum in London, is now to open at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh on July 4th. This exhibition created by a Glasgow Artist, features footage of the band on parade recorded by a professional film crew. More details will be added soon.
